Known as Chuangxiang 3D in China, the company is widely recognized for popularizing budget 3D printers, beginning with the Ender 3 in 2017 and more recently with the Creality Hi and K2 Plus. According to a report from market intelligence firm CONTEXT, Creality holds 39% of the global consumer 3D printer market, while its filing with the exchange cites a 27.9% share.

Creality’s business spans 140 countries and 74 online stores, selling both directly through its website and via distributors such as Matterhackers and MicroCenter. The company’s revenue streams include 3D printers, consumables, scanners, laser engravers, accessories, subscription services, 3D model transactions, and sales of 3D-printed products.

As part of its assets, Creality disclosed a new platform called Nexbie, described as an overseas e-commerce site designed to connect 3D model designers with customers. According to Creality, fulfillment will be handled through approved partners, with the platform aiming to build a “mutually beneficial 3D creative ecosystem.”

Creality reports holding 840 patents and employing 565 research and development staff. It also operates Creality Cloud, a platform offering access to a wide range of 3D models.

The company’s draft prospectus, filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, spans 561 pages. While some portions are redacted, Creality noted this is standard practice to ensure the preliminary filing is not mistaken for a final prospectus.
