Ireland-based Codex Office Solutions has revealed “significant” growth in its print and facilities supplies categories.
At its annual business gathering held earlier this month, the independent reseller said that a number of public service print contracts had helped to drive sales in the past seven months.
Meanwhile, Facility and Workplace Solutions continued to push growth. Interiors and Furniture sales remained steady, and Office Supplies sales were up 3% on last year excluding the impact of new government contracts.
The success of securing these customers has led the company to enhance and strengthen its tendering department.
Codex Managing Director Siobhan O’Connor said,
Due to the amount of new business opportunities opening up within the market at present it made sense to develop this department and add extra resources. What we are finding is that while price is still important, service and the ability to actually deliver the goods and add value is now becoming a key driver for customers to change.
Codex took the opportunity at the event to launch its sponsorship for the DePaul annual raft race 2017 to raise funds to tackle homelessness.
