Cloud-based Platform to Locate Reforestation Efforts

Through PrintReleaf’s global reforestation programs, customers are able to choose their reforesting locations.

Print Audit, Alberta, Canada-based provider for print management and print tracking solutions, has announced its integration with PrintReleaf’s cloud-based platform for tracking forest products and reforestation.

As reported by theimagingchannel.com, Print Audit Premier members can add sustainable values to their managed print services under the partnership. Their customers will be able to choose the location for their reforestation efforts through PrintReleaf’s global network of certified reforestation projects. Within 8 years, customers can track details on the growth and survival of the trees online. PrintReleaf says one reforested tree is equal to 8,333 sheets of consumed paper and dealers only pay a cost each page for this program.

West McDonald, Vice President of Business Development for Print Audit, said, "Print Audit is continually looking for ways to bring our members additional value and PrintReleaf’s reforestation efforts align perfectly with that mission. This integration gives office equipment dealers and their customers the choice to have a net-zero impact on the forests of the world, and that is a very good option as far as we’re concerned."

Commenting on this integration, Jordan Darragh, Founder and CEO of PrintReleaf, said: “Print Audit’s toolsets for waste and paper reduction in combination with PrintReleaf’s reforestation platform create highly impactful sustainability benefits for dealers and their customers.”
