Canon’s Dispute with Jakubowski und Gert Concludes

On Sept. 5, 2017, the Amazon vendor Jakubowski und Gert GbR (trading as DISA SHOP24) signed a cease-and-desist declaration for the offer and distribution of the laser toner cartridge models “DISA CE505X/CF280X” and “DISA CE505A/CF280A” which infringed the German portion of Canon’s dongle gear Patent EP2087407.

Based on the same patent, Canon has already announced preliminary injunction against Coemedia GmbH, Printperfect Ltd, Moreinks Limited, Consumable Direct Ltd. and M & S Vertrieb Service OHG in Germany.

On June 1, Canon announced the conclusion of a dispute with J&H Greentech and Trading Ltd in Germany and Italy for infringement of the 407 patent and EP 2137577.
