Canon U.S.A., Inc. has announced the release of the imageFORMULA R40II Office Document Scanner Receipt Edition, a new document scanner designed for office and small business use.

The R40II Receipt Edition succeeds the previous model with updated performance, a smaller form factor, and additional image processing features. The scanner includes integration with Intuit QuickBooks Online through Canon’s CaptureOnTouch software, allowing users to upload scanned receipts and invoices and extract data for use in QuickBooks Online.
The scanner also supports optical character recognition, enabling paper documents to be converted into searchable digital files. In addition to receipts and invoices, it is designed to scan a range of document types, including reports, contracts, photographs, business cards, and long-format documents.
According to Canon, the scanner can process up to 45 pages per minute and scans both sides of a document in a single pass. It features a 60-sheet automatic document feeder for batch scanning and connects to a computer via the included USB-C cable. The device also includes customizable shortcut buttons for frequently used scanning tasks.
The imageFORMULA R40II Office Document Scanner Receipt Edition is now available through authorized Canon partners and other sales channels. Canon said additional pricing and product information is available on its website.
