Canon Extends Office Print Portfolio

Canon Europe is extending its print portfolio with the addition of four compact and feature rich A4 colour multifunctional devices (MFDs), the imageRUNNER C1225, imageRUNNER C1225iF, imageRUNNER C1325iF and imageRUNNERC1335iF.

The imageRUNNER C1225iF, C1325iF and C1335iF will be available across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia in March 2015. The imageRUNNER C1225 will be exclusively available through Canon Middle East, Canon Eurasia, Canon South Africa, Canon Central and Eastern Europe, Canon Poland, Canon Czech Republic, Canon Slovakia, Canon Hungary and Canon Russia.

Francis Thornhill, European and UK product marketing manager at Canon Europe, comments: “We are very excited about these new feature rich devices for small offices and workgroups. They deliver theperfect combination of next generation technology and performance as well as Canon’s renowned reliability and quality. With the addition of the new compact models, Canon now offers one of the most extensive print portfolios on the market to cover any office requirement”.

To help organisations reduce the risk of print related data breaches, the new devices also incorporate native secure printing, iPSec, Department ID and authorised send as standard. For the first time an imageRUNNER series offers enhanced management capabilities inherited from Canon’s imageRUNNER ADVANCE platform, making the devices highly suitable for fleet deployments.

Across all the new devices, enhanced support for a range of IT industry standards ensures seamless integration with existing IT environments, while Department ID functionality, which delivers basic print policy controls such as restricting the use of colour to certain individuals, allows smaller offices to help control costs.

Canon’s latest multifunctional printers are Energy Star certified and feature class-leading TEC ratings, with power consumption figures of less than one watt in sleep mode.
