Canon celebrated its Saudi Arabian Channel Community at its annual Image Inspired channel partner event.

Cannon Middle East praised their KSA channel partners’ business performance and innovative selling techniques at Canon’s annual Image Inspired channel partner event.

The event, held at the Mövenpick Hotel Riyadh, brought Canon and their partners together, reaffirming their commitment to one another.  The awards ceremony, with over 150 key Canon channel partners in attendance, encompassed the theme Be Story Ready and celebrated the partners’ accomplishments for the past year.  Canon Middle East B2C business unit director Venkatasubramanian Hariharan said one of Canon’s aims was to continue “building and sustaining relationships with our channel partners”.

“It is essential for us [Canon] to empower our partners and end-users with the best technological innovations of the future. These annual awards serve to recognize innovation and success, and also inspire the community to play a part in every image in the Kingdom,” Mr Hariharan said.

According to Albawaba.com, Al Ghamdi received the award for the laser printer category whilst the award for performance in the Printer Consumables category was received by Phone for Communication.  Canon also recognized eXtra’s performance regarding inkjet printers.

Other Cannon Middle East awards presented at the awards night included:

  1. The Performance Award for the DLSR & Lens, and Cameras & Selphy categories, both received by Jarir Bookstore;
  2. The Innovative Selling Technics award for Best Customer Experience and Display, and Best e-tailing & Social Media Collaboration categories, both received by eXtra; and
  3. The award for Innovative Selling Concepts, received by Al Ajyal.
