Business Laser Demand to Surge in 2014

According to China Daily, the shipment of commercial-use laser printers in China will hit 8.15 million in China this year, 8% more than that of 2013.

IDC says the demand from manufacturing, financial and healthcare sectors will surge, and nearly 40% of newly shipped laser printers will be purchased by these organizations.

Wang Sha, senior analyst at IDC said, “Small and mid-sized private companies are set to increase their presence in the manufacturing sector. Government support for SMEs will also help the companies to get loans and expand productivity.”

With more domestic and overseas banks opening new business in China, printer shipment for these segments will see 10.2% growth in 2014. As for health organization, it will see similar growth due to “rapid development of community medical services”.
