Brother Suits EZ Replacement Labels for Tape Cassette Patent Infringement

Brother announced it has brought the patent infringement case against EZ Replacement Labels, LLC before the US Delaware District. The defendant was charged with infringement on No. RE43, 228 patent named “Tape Cassette For Use With A Printing Device” and No. RE43, 022 patent concerning “Tape-Shaped Label Printing Device”. Both patents concern tape cassettes deployed in Brother’s P-Touch labeling machines.

Toshikazu Koike, President of Brother Industries, claimed: “Brother Industries is committed to vigorously enforcing its patent rights in the United States and around the world.”
