BLI Recognizes Excellence in MFPs

Buyer Lab (BLI)’s Summer 2017 Pick Awards has recognized seven Kyocera printers and one Samsung printer in the printer MFP category for their outstanding performance.

BLI typically gives the awards twice a year. It recognizes qualified products through an in-depth, unbiased research in the document imaging industry. This year, it has acknowledged Kyocera’s Color MFP models (TASKalfa 2552ci, 3552ci, 4052ci, 5052ci, 7052ci and 8052ci) and monochrome printer ECOSYS P3055dn as outstanding products.

“Kyocera’s Summer 2017 Pick winners proved to be true workhorses, with exceptional reliability,” said George Mikolay, Associate Director of A3/Production at BLI. “On top of that, the devices have robust feature sets, very good usability, and seamless integration with business software and applications, making them a strong value proposition.”

Samsung C4062FX, meanwhile, was also awarded a Pick award. BLI commented on how this printer combines next-generation Smart UX with compact design and quality color.

“Thanks to the Samsung Smart UX Center Android-based control panel, the Samsung ProXpress C4062FX offers exceptional customization to boost flexibility and ease of use,” said Marlene Orr, Director of Printer/MFP Analysis for Keypoint Intelligence – Buyers Lab. “Plus, fast speeds and very good print and copy quality round out the package, while providing a lower than average total cost of ownership.”
