Apex Responds to Lexmark Firmware Upgrade

Apex Microelectronics (Zhuhai, China) has updated its replacement chips for Lexmark MX/MS/CX/CS 310/410/510/610/710/810 series laser printers, in respond to the OEM’s latest firmware upgrade.

As revealed, Lexmark has upgraded its laser printer firmware in November 2013, which, Apex believes, has a serious impact on the aftermarket chip industry. Also, it opines that the upgrade will lower customer’s trust toward aftermarket consumables and reduce the market share of the industry.

Apex has responded quickly and come up with these replacement chips which it believes will “solve the crisis”. The firm said the chips have been all-round tested with the qualified stability and the OEM-like performance.
