Xerox Corp. Reveals 6% Rise In Q3 Profit
Xerox Corp. (XRX) reported a profit for its third quarter that rose from last year.
The company said its bottom line came in at $236 million, or $0.89 per share. This was higher than $223 million, or $0.84 per share, in last year’s third quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.83 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.9% to $2.50 billion. This was down from $2.63 billion last year.
