10 More Pantone-licensed MFP Models Released

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America added 10 more models to its Color Advanced and Essential (CAE) series MFP line.

The 10 MFPs feature the pantone color matching function with print speeds in the range of 30 to 60ppm. The matching normally requires color expertise and expensive workflow software, but is now available in the new printers tuned by Pantone’s color analysts. It allows the Sharp MFPs to produce documents with Pantone Coated Series of colors presented by the carefully crafted color table.

The OEM also claims no extra cost will be added to its CAE series along with the high-speed office and light production line.

Shane Coffey, Senior Director in Hardware Product Management of the company, explained the pantone matching system is used by firms across a variety of industries. The system helps the firms to identify their brand image through corporate logos, text, and so on. “We are pleased to continue offering our customers advanced color management tools that are simple, streamlined and achieve professional results,” he added.
