Ricoh Launches Cloud-Ready MFP Series

Ricoh USA has introduced a new range of A3 monochrome MFPs, expanding its intelligent print portfolio with devices designed for cloud-enabled document workflows and enterprise information management.

The new lineup includes the RICOH IM Series models IM 2510, IM 3510, IM 4510, IM 5510, IM 6010 and IM 7010. The devices support print sizes up to 12 x 18 inches, with print speeds ranging from 25 to 70 pages per minute, scan speeds of up to 300 images per minute and print resolutions up to 1200 dpi.

Ricoh said the series incorporates technology from its existing colour IM C Series platform, including a redesigned print engine with longer-life components intended to reduce maintenance requirements and improve uptime. The devices also share finishing and paper handling options across the platform.

The printers feature Ricoh’s Android-based Smart Operation Panel, designed to support touch-based navigation and integration with cloud workflows and document management systems.

The new IM 7010 model extends the series into higher-volume environments with output speeds of 70 pages per minute.

The platform supports optional cloud-based services including RICOH Smart Integration, RICOH CloudStream and RICOH Streamline NX. Ricoh said the services are designed to support document automation, fleet management and analytics across distributed workplaces.

According to the company, the devices also include security features such as Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 encryption support, TLS 1.3 data encryption and automatic firmware updates through RICOH Always Current Technology.

Ricoh said the new series incorporates sustainability measures including 50% post-consumer recycled plastic content in the mainframes, reduced single-use plastic packaging and low-melting-point toner designed to lower energy consumption.
