Toshiba Expands Cloud Print Capabilities with Youmebee Acquisition
Toshiba America Business Solutions has bolstered its cloud services portfolio through the acquisition of Youmebee, Ltd., the company behind directprint.io, a leading cloud-native print management platform. The deal underscores Toshiba’s broader strategy to deliver open, flexible, and secure print infrastructure designed for today’s hybrid work environments.

Under the agreement, Youmebee will continue to operate as a stand-alone subsidiary, focusing on developing cloud-first, AI-driven print, document, and workflow solutions. The company will adopt the new brand name Coreza, while its flagship product, directprint.io, will be rebranded as Coreza Print in the coming months.
Toshiba said the acquisition will both strengthen its Elevate Sky® Print Management platform and expand its capabilities in serving organizations with mixed print fleets. The move ensures ongoing investment in Youmebee’s technology while maintaining its vendor-neutral and independent approach.
The addition of Youmebee aligns with Toshiba’s Managed Print as a Service (MPaaS) strategy, which addresses the needs of enterprises and SMBs operating in multi-vendor environments. The directprint.io (soon Coreza Print) platform is known for features including:
- Vendor-agnostic compatibility with all major printer brands
- Cloud-native architecture that eliminates the need for print servers and simplifies IT management
- Integration capabilities with major identity providers, productivity suites, and security tools
- Real-time analytics for tracking usage, costs, and sustainability performance
As part of Toshiba, Coreza will continue serving its global customer base and partners with the same agility that has fueled its growth. Toshiba said the acquisition will enable faster innovation and broader scaling of Coreza’s cloud platform while staying true to its vendor-neutral philosophy.
