Xerox’s GIS Continues to Expand

Xerox’s Global Imaging Systems (GIS) announced the acquisition of Pennsylvania-based business services provider Capital Business Systems.

This company provides managed print, network services and document management software to its customers. Michael Pietrunti, Senior Vice President for Acquisitions, Corporate Services and Marketing at GIS, said, “We continue to grow our presence across the U.S. with leading office equipment companies that provide quality services to customers. The addition of successful companies like Capital Business Systems continues to bolster our network of locally based companies.”

Steven Shirk, leading Capital Business Systems since its inception in 1991, will continue to serve as President of the company. Shirk mentioned, “The new partnership with GIS and Xerox expands our offerings, providing our customers with an increased portfolio of solutions to meet their needs. Customer satisfaction remains our top priority, and we look forward to strengthening our current relationships and building new ones.”
