VIP Expo Promises to Forge New Relationships Between Suppliers and Latin American Buyers

With just days to go, the RTMworld VIP Imaging Expo is about to kick off in three key cities in Latin America. Organized by Comexposium Recycling Times (C-RT), it will be the first time any event for the printer and imaging supplies industry has been held in Peru and Chile for 16 years. A third one-day event will also be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

More than 70% of the buyers attending the events in Lima, Peru and Santiago, Chile have never met the manufacturers and suppliers of products. Many have never heard of the top 40 exhibitors or visited China or India, where most of them come from.

The unique event is held for one day only in each of the three cities over 10 days. According to recent customs data, buyers have been invited based on their proven ability to import and distribute products.

The events are each held in a 5-star hotel, and free working lunches, meals, and continuous coffee and drink are provided on the exhibition floor.

“A world-class business experience is created to enhance the buyer and supplier opportunities for those dealing with printers, copiers and imaging supplies,” said David Gibbons, the International Director of Events and Communication at C-RT.

These events use our most successful and proven roadshow expo model,” said Cecile Zheng, the Vice General Manager of C-RT. “We trialed in Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Bogota in 2019 and 2023. We did it all again in Lagos (Nigeria), Nairobi (Kenya) and Dubai (UAE) in April of this year. It gathers the top suppliers and establishes the connection with the top buyers from local regions and neighboring countries.”

The event will be held in three cities in the Americas between June 17 and 26, 2024, including Santiago (Chile), Lima (Peru), and Sao Paulo (Brazil). During these 10 days, the exhibitor delegation will have face-to-face communication with buyers, and showcase their tailored product for the American market.
