Toshiba Rolls Out World’s First Erasable MFP

Today, Toshiba introduced the world’s first erasable MFP, the e-STUDIO5008LP series.

The new MFP allows users to use the same paper multiple times when printing with the Erasable Blue Toner, which can be erased by an optional paper erasing unit, the e-STUDIO RD301.

Toshiba notes that businesses often print documents for temporary document use—such as for proofreading, reviewing an email message, or reading a fax. In these instances, the e-STUDIO5008LP series enables users to print using the erasable blue toner, while using regular black toner for producing more permanent documents.
