Static Control Intros New Aftermarket Solutions

Static Control released six products this week, which include comprehensive solutions for HP® LaserJet® Enterprise M806 cartridges and three replacement chips.

According to the company, the Odyssey® toner for use in HP® M806 was developed and manufactured in-house to provide OEM-comparable image density and page yield. It does not build-up on the PCR, preventing TAB-related print defects, and does not wear out the other components during the 34,500 page cartridge cycle.

Moreover, an Odyssey® OPC drum with ZeroTwist™ Gears (Product Code: PGDRHM806) was rolled out, which was developed for optimum performance with the toner. ZeroTwist™ Gear Technology is protected by two U.S. patents granted to Static Control and does not infringe the Canon gear patents involved in 2013’s General Exclusion Order.

Replacement conversion end plates were released that can be used to convert plentiful HP® 9000 cartridge cores to an HP® M806 cartridge. Static Control says the plates have been designed specifically to work with its patented HP 9000 Cartridge End Cap Removal System (Product Code: 9KCSS/9KCSS-2CE).

Also released was a replacement chip for use in HP® 670 XL cartridges, which features Static Control’s patented ink gauge technology, providing full functionality while circumventing HP’s U.S. and European patents.

Another two replacement chips were also released, one for use in Ricoh® SP 3400 cartridges, the other for use in Ricoh® SP 3510 cartridges.

The company says currently it has more than 1,000 products in development.
