Sources Say Badger Office Supplies May Acquire Cartridge World

Sources tell Recycling Times that Badger Office Supplies Ltd., a supplier of ink jet inks, toner and other imaging consumables, is planning to acquire Cartridge World’s UK franchise and consumer business. The acquisition, if it takes place, would include logistics, stock management, product sales and supplies, as well as e-commerce fulfillment.

On May 31, reports claim, the two firms will begin to investigate the feasibility of such a merger. The full transfer of responsibilities could be activated on August 31; it will affect 7 Cartridge World Franchise Support employees based in the company’s Franchise Support Centre in Harrogate, UK. In addition, some employees of Cartridge World’s Elite Stores Group will discuss the process of the new arrangement at Badger Office Supplies.
