Samsung Selects UAE Distributor

A leading provider of IT Solutions in the UAE has won the agreement as an official distributor for Samsung’s office automation services in the region.

As reported by zawya.com, Ismail Yoon, the President of Samsung Gulf Electronics expects the agreement with the new distributor—Gulf Island Group—will consolidate their prominent position in the industry. “The agreement will significantly boost the reach of Samsung’s latest printing solutions that stand to benefit from the additional support in areas such as sales, project implementation, project management and service network that is offered by Gulf Islands Group,” stated Yoon.

Mubarak Al Calili, CEO of Gulf Islands Group is confident that the agreement, which covers Samsung’s latest MultiXpress X7600 series products, will help create one of the largest local installation and service bases for printing technology in the UAE. “We are well positioned to provide Samsung with excellent support in the form of a dedicated team of factory trained engineers and a well-stocked spare parts division through our wide network of service centers,” asserted Mubarak.
