Roland DG Launches New D-EA2 Ink at Half the Cost
Roland DG Corporation, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and printer/cutters worldwide, is excited to announce new D-EA2 Ink for its DGXPRESS ER series 64” eco-solvent inkjet printers, combining vivid print quality with exceptional productivity at an attractive price point.

With optimized print profiles, ER printers using D-EA2 in a CMYK ink configuration output beautiful graphics with vivid colors, neutral grays, smooth gradations, and natural skin tones. In addition, the ER-642 is now equipped with a significantly enhanced Roland Intelligent Pass Control 2.0, which greatly reduces banding and uneven color even at high print speeds, while further improving image quality, color stability, and gradation reproduction.
VersaWorks 7 RIP software, included with the purchase of an ER series printer, maximizes the potential of the printer and ink, enabling even more beautiful results, faster. RIP processing speeds are up to 3.9 times faster than previous versions, so large volumes of data can be processed quickly, improving your productivity. In addition to Roland DG’s acclaimed “True Rich Color” print setting, which delivers a higher level of output quality, newly developed 16-bit rasterization technology and new dither patterns produce smooth, detailed output with minimal graininess.
With the ER series and D-EA2, a comprehensive manufacturer’s warranty is included, plus optional maintenance contracts are available to offer complete peace of mind for many years.
Customers currently using D-EA ink can easily switch to the new D-EA2 ink by performing a firmware update and simple replacement procedure themselves.
