Ricoh Unveils 15 New Products

Ricoh has released a collection of new updated products, including multifunction, production, industrial, projection, wide-format equipment, controller, variable data printing (VDP), document workflow and process efficiency software.

This collection aims to support future office, enterprises and graphic arts businesses in commercial print environments. Richard Pinker, Marketing Director of Ricoh SA, said, “The new range is based on wide research and development of Ricoh Global to help our clients for meeting the future needs of their consumers. It focuses on the immediacy with consumers’ expectation towards business and supports clients’ new working ways.”

DocuWare is the core of this new range, which integrates document management through systems and devices. Pinker added, “Organisations can completely control their information systems by using DocuWare coordinated with ERP, BI, CRM, e-mail and other document systems. By improving document processes, organisations will gain revenue benefits before cost reductions. Improved document processes can enhance the overall experience of consumers’ interaction with organisations.”

The new range of Ricoh contains four sectors and all the 15 new products are listed below.

The enhanced software line-up includes: DocuWare, software incorporated into Ricoh’s document solutions package; EFI Fiery, a print controller for copy and production print environments; Ricoh’s variable data printing (VDP) solutions.

Ricoh’s innovative products of the future office includes Unified Communications System, a portable video conferencing system; PJ WX4130N, an ultra-short-throw projector; MP C4502, a versatile multifunction printer; MP C3002, a versatile, full-colour MFP; MP 301SP, a compact, black-and-white A4 MFP; MP 2501SP, an A3, black-and-white MFP.

New production equipment includes: Pro C901 Graphic Arts + and 8-Ricoh Pro C901S Graphics Arts +, production printers; MP CW2200, a four-colour, wide-format printer; Pro 1357, designed to meet the unique needs of data centres, service bureaus, digital printers and other production print specialists.

New products to the industrial range includes Printronix P8000, a cartridge printer and Printronix T2N, a small thermal printer. Pinker commented, “Printronix T2N displays a shift away from printer and copier for meeting the future needs of our customers.”
