Print-Rite Europe Appoints New GM
Andrew appointed General Manager
According to Print-Rite Europe, Andrew Doherty(pictured right) has been appointed General Manager at Print-Rite Europe and, with 36 years at the company, it would be hard to find anyone better qualified to take on the role.
Andrew started work in the printer consumables business at Trent 300 in 1979 as a packer. He then went on to work on the first inking machine in the UK. In 1983 Trent 300 was purchased by Mills Computer Products and Andrew progressed into the role of supervisor of the packing team and then production manager.
There was a very short move away, before returning in 1998 as Logistics Manager, by which time the company had been taken over by Print-Rite.
Andrew’s latest promotion completes his rise from packer to General Manager .
He commented: “I am excited and highly motivated to lead the great team we have here at Print-Rite Europe. We have seen impressive growth in recent months and I am fully committed to maintaining the forward momentum.”
In the little spare time Andrew gets away from work he enjoys spending time with family. He has three daughters, 2 step daughters and 6 grandchildren. He also enjoys relaxing on holidays abroad.
