OKI Data Australia Launches MFP for SMB Market

Global business and multi-function printer (MFP) manufacturer OKI Data Australia, has rolled out its MC862—a new A4/A3 color MFP to tackle small and medium size businesses (SMBs) with high volume print requirements.  The new MC862 offers the versatility of printing in either full or monochrome color. Its speeds are 26 ppm for color and 34 ppm for mono. The device can copy, scan and fax in rich, A4/A3, high-definition color.

Antonio Leone, Marketing Manager for OKI Data ANZ, said, “The MC862 enables businesses to print on a variety of media which means printing what they need, when they need it, whilst reducing the lead-times and costs associated with outsourced printing.”

Furthermore, the MC862’s large capacity toner cartridges help businesses to reduce the total cost of ownership, without sacrificing consistent, high quality output.

The new product also features an easy-to-use graphical LCD display and one-touch copy, scan, print and fax buttons.

Another feature is embedded LDAP which enables direct access to contact and email data in an existing directory file. Job programming also helps save time by defining regularly used set-up functions.  Data can also be encrypted allowing confidential documents to remain secure. Users can convert printouts into digital content and editable electronic files as well.

The MC862 is shipped via OKI distributor, Alloys, and comes with a three-year warranty.
