Epson has announced the release of a dot matrix printer in the United States of America.

Epson recently announced the release of their FX-890II series printers (pictured) in the United States of America.

According to Epson, the printer series can withstand dusty, humid and high temperature environments.  The printer was created for businesses needing fast, reliable multi-parts prints or continuous printing.

FX-890II printer features include a large capacity ribbon cartridge that prints up to 7.5 million characters; durability; a 9-pin, narrow-carriage impact printers for a long-life cycle; three years limited warranty; and, speeds of up to 738 cps.

“The new FX-890II Series is Epson’s next generation of impact printers featuring legendary printing reliability, powerful productivity and low cost of operation,” said Epson USA group product manager of Latin America system devices Gabriel Baganasco.  “Thanks to a simple yet elegant paper pathing and a long product life-cycle, the FX-890II Series of impact printers can print continuously quickly, with little concerns of downtime due to jams or misfeeds.”
