More Removals Requested by Canon
Canon Inc. has announced the filing of two infringement reports with Amazon.ca seeking removal of two Amazon.ca listings for certain toner cartridges sold by UniVirgin, and TONER4U.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CC530A, CC531A, CC532A and CC533A toner cartridges sold by UniVirgin via Amazon.ca infringed Canon’s Canadian Patent no. 2,635,791. Canon requested the removal of the corresponding listings for these products, having Amazon Standard Identification Numbers B01N74PRRU, B01N52LVJF, B01MXLGPDQ, B01MTNPL7Y, B01N52M0E8, B01N1FI9SO, B01N0E12PZ, B01MYMZ5W6 and B01N2H16GB.
Canon also alleged that certain model CB540A, CB541A, CB542A, CB543A, CE320A, CE321A, CE322A, CE323A, CF210X, CF211A, CF212A and CF213A toner cartridges sold by TONER4U via Amazon.ca infringed Canon’s Canadian Patent no. 2,635,791. Canon requested the removal of the corresponding listings for these products, namely Amazon Standard Identification Numbers B00IRNOKRQ, B00ITVB0GK, B00HGJRD3A, B00I61QC52, B01L7O2OZQ, B00XDADWNQ, B00S4EKNQ0, B075VZWLCJ, B00HLW1N74, B00K9RFZ9U, B00IOWC57M, B00IOXTYMU, B00IOYDJWU and B00IPL2KZY.

Filing an infringement report with Amazon.ca is a service offered by Amazon and does not constitute an official finding of infringement. The decision to take down a product is in the discretion of Amazon and is based on information provided by Canon.
