More International Staff Join RT Media’s China Office

Recycling Times Media (RT Media)’s China office has welcomed a new international member of staff to their team, adding to existing international staff members from Australia, Germany, and Hong Kong. Previously, RT Media has welcomed interns into their team from around the globe; Netherlands, France, and Germany to name a few. This is just one of many steps taken to enhance the international appeal of the company.

Ryan Blackett, who comes from the United Kingdom, will work for the next two months as part of the Editorial team where he will edit the weekly e-newsletter, provide proof reading support, and translate news and articles from Chinese to English! Blackett will also be assisting the Marketing team.

Blackett is passionate and enthusiastic about what he expects to gain during his time at RT Media: “The print consumables industry is completely new to me so I look forward to becoming more familiar with this multi-billion dollar, global industry, over the coming two months. Also, I want to learn more about the rapid growth of RT Media as the industry’s number one publishing and events service provider.”

Blackett is currently studying Chinese at undergraduate level. “I am very excited to have the opportunity to use Chinese within a professional office environment. More specifically, I cannot wait to apply the language and translation skills I have developed during my degree to this real life situation. I’m very excited to be here and I am going to help RT Media out while growing professionally as a person in the process!”

RT Media is also very excited to have Blackett onboard with the team. Two others, also from the UK, will join the RT Media team this summer. Internships are a positive way for young people to gain real world, professional workplace experiences, while soaking up a new cultural lifestyle.
