M2 stays loyal to Manchester home
European managed print services specialist M2 is moving to a new HQ.
The group has agreed a ten-year lease for a new 11,000 sq ft (1,000 sq m) location in Manchester, UK.
Its FY results earlier this month revealed record growth since its acquisition by IT services company SCC in 2014.
Despite much of this growth coming from its locations in the south of England – particularly London – M2 said the move to Manchester’s Brightgate House showed its continued confidence in the region.
It complements a network of M2 offices in London, Bracknell, Bristol, Wakefield and Glasgow and owner SCC’s 16 UK and 40 global offices.
The new hub will feature open-plan facilities and state of the art technology and software to demonstrate to customers the working efficiencies these enable.
M2 will also maximise its use of unified communications and video conferencing connecting M2 to SCC’s European locations in France, Spain and Romania.
M2 CEO John Taylor commented: “As we move into our flagship HQ, it will serve as a reminder to the North West business community that this market leader has the drive and ambition to grow in the region as much as it has done nationally, particularly in the South over recent years.”
