Kyocera Introduces Nova A3 MFP Lineup
Kyocera Document Solutions America has introduced the Nova Series, a new lineup of A3 multifunction printers designed for high-volume print and scan environments. The series aims to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support sustainability goals for businesses and print dealers.

The Nova Series combines advanced printing technology with workflow automation tools intended to reduce operational costs and simplify device management. The machines offer print speeds of up to 105 pages per minute in black and white and 80 pages per minute in color, targeting organizations with heavy document processing needs.
The printers feature AI-enabled straight-path scanning capable of processing up to 300 images per minute and handling document batches of up to 5,000 pages, with automated error detection. Output quality is supported by 2400 × 2400 dpi resolution, built-in ICC color profiles, and automated color calibration designed to maintain consistent color across different media types.
To reduce workflow interruptions, the series includes a dual-toner container system that allows toner replacement without pausing print jobs. The printers also integrate with cloud capture tools for document digitization and support production print platforms such as Fiery and Kyocera’s Production Print Suite.
Additional workflow features include AI-assisted barcode scanning, automatic tilt correction for scanned documents, and modular finishing options such as booklet creation, Z-folding, and mailbox sorting. A redesigned finisher module is also intended to reduce floor space requirements compared with previous models.
Security features include compliance with FIPS 140-3 and ISO/IEC 15408 standards, along with encryption capabilities, document-copy protection, and centralized device management through browser-based controls.
The Nova Series incorporates energy-efficient components, long-life hardware, and monitoring tools for CO₂ emissions to support environmental efficiency.
The lineup includes both monochrome and color models with print speeds ranging from 75 ppm to 105 ppm, including the TASKalfa MZ7500i, MZ8500i, MZ9500i, MZ10500i, MZ7500ci, MZ8500ci, and MZ9500ci. Kyocera says the series is designed to provide organizations with a scalable platform for high-demand printing environments.
