Konica Minolta Acquisition

A Baltimore-based technology dealer, Action Business Systems (ABS), has been taken over by Konica Minolta Business Solutions in America—the 22nd such acquisition in just the last four years.

All business functions of ABS were acquired by Konica Minolta, according to the agreement. Konica Minolta further amplifies its presence in the Baltimore area through this acquisition. In addition, ABS’s White Marsh and Maryland sites will become two offices of Konica Minolta in Baltimore.

ABS had operated a strong customer service business in Washington DC., Maryland, and Virginia for 40 years. President and CEO of Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Rick Taylor said, “This acquisition allows us to better serve our customers in the Baltimore region. I look forward to us working together to accelerate our growth, and leverage synergies to drive high levels of innovation.”
