Image Matters “Thrilled” About the New Sales President
Image Matters has appointed a new president of sales to lead its office technology and services company in Knoxville, TN, in the USA.
The new president of sales is Scott Acuff, a veteran in the industry with 28 years’ experience in sales, marketing, and operations. He will be responsible for Image Matters’ expansion in markets and the strategic direction of the company’s Managed Services business. Acuff has officially started his new role since July 10.
As a 1991 graduate from University of Tennessee with a B.S. degree in communications, Acuff began his career with Knoxville Xerographics, an office products company and one of the first Xerox Metro Agencies in the country. After 10 years with Knoxville Xerographics he joined Xerox as a sales and services executive. Acuff spent the following 18 years expanding his role within the Xerox organization where he honed his skills in sales, marketing, finance, and operations. During his years with Xerox, he has worked in an array of executive positions including account sales manager, region business manager and client sales director.
With Image Matter, Acuff returns to interacting closely with clients and working directly with the managers and sales reps responsible for marketing Managed Print Services.
“I’m thrilled to join an organization with the reputation that Image Matters has in the market for meeting customer’s needs while providing them with technology and solutions that can help them not only grow their businesses, but help Image Matters grow and expand its reach,” says Acuff.
Image Matters’ President J.D. Sullivan says he is “thrilled to have Scott on our team.” Mr. Sullivan comments, “He brings the critical skill sets to the Image Matters management team and truly understands the opportunities and challenges facing our business and our customer’s businesses. His knowledge of our market and certain vertical markets will be an asset and instrumental to Image Matters’ growth going forward.”
“We are fortunate to have found a talent with such a diverse background in the imaging technology industry,” adds Bob Lovelace, vice president, Image Matters, Inc. “Our Managed Services business is poised for rapid growth and Scott has the business acumen and experience to take it to the next level.”
