HP Updates Envy Printer Line

Hewlett-Packard released two new multifunction additions to its Envy Series: the Envy 4500 e-All-in-One and the Envy 5530 e-All-in-One.

While the two new models do not post many new features, both are equipped with wireless connectivity, enabling users to control them via a smartphone, tablet, or wireless PC. They also allow scanning and sending to a mobile device; printing to the machines from anywhere, as long as they’re connected to the Internet. Moreover, users can get news and coupons sent to the printers via HP Printables.

The printers are ideal for home use with a compact design. Both machines offer duplex printing, which is good for drafts and helps save money and resources. They feature print speeds of 9 pages per minute (ppm) in black and 5 ppm in color. Users can use high-capacity ink cartridges and when the ink runs out, HP’s Instant Ink subscription service is an option for easy replenishment.
