Global Print Consumables Leaders Descend On China

More printers are being shipped in two of the biggest global regions, being Western Europe and Asia/Pacific, when compared to the same time last year.

According to hard copy printing analyst group IDC, all other regions declined, or remained flat. The IDC tracker reports most of the growth in Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) region, known as APeJ, was driven by China, which represents nearly half of the region’s shipments. This was also the fifth consecutive quarter of year-over-year growth for the region.

It is clear China is working, at a time when other countries and regions are struggling. Consequently hundreds of industry leaders will descend upon China next month—from 42 countries—to look at marketing strategies and new business opportunities. The RT Imaging Summit will host debates and discussions through international, Chinese and Asia Pacific experts on legal, market trends and new product updates.

The RT Imaging Summit, part of a global network of imaging events is being held at the Holiday Inn, Zhuhai (Guangdong, China) on Wednesday 15 October 2014, the day before the giant RemaxAsia imaging expo, also held in Zhuhai China which runs for 3 days.
