Fake Cartridges at Zhuhai Show

Organizers were advised that allegedly counterfeit Lexmark cartridges were on display in one booth during RemaxWorld Expo in Zhuhai, China.

Lexmark’s Worldwide Brand Protection Manager, Andrew Gardner spotted the fakes early on Day 1 and requested organisers to deal with the problem.

Tony Lee, Managing Director of RT Media and David Gibbons, Director, acted quickly to deal with the matter. “We have a zero-tolerance position towards counterfeit products,” Gibbons said. “RT Media will support any action Lexmark or any other OEM requires including a police raid, arrest and confiscation.”

The exhibitor staff was quick to respond and withdraw the allegedly fake products from display allowing Gardner to take samples with him for further analysis.
