DTM Print Launches CLP2200e Colour Label Printer

DTM Print, an international OEM and provider of specialty printing systems, has announced the release of the DTM CLP2200e Colour Label Printer, a new solution aimed at professional colour label production.

The CLP2200e is designed to offer flexibility, reliable performance and straightforward integration into existing production environments. One of its key features is broad ink compatibility: the printer supports dye ink, pigment ink or mixed ink configurations, allowing users to balance colour vibrancy and label durability according to application needs.

The printer uses four separate ink cartridges for cyan, magenta, yellow and black, paired with a user-replaceable printhead. This setup, previously implemented in DTM Print’s LX2000e model, is intended to help users manage ink consumption, maintenance and operating costs more effectively.

Built for industrial use, the CLP2200e features a compact metal housing suitable for production lines and space-constrained environments. Connectivity options include USB 2.0, Ethernet and a 24 V PLC interface, supporting integration into automated systems.

Media handling and maintenance are supported by a flat label feed path and modular access points for cleaning and servicing. An external label supply feed accommodates larger roll diameters to support higher productivity. Printer operation and status monitoring are managed through the CLP2200e Toolbox software and an integrated display.

The printer supports a maximum print width of 210 mm (8.25 inches) and is compatible with Genuine DTM Label Stock across various surfaces. It is intended for applications such as product labels for beverages, food, gardening, cosmetics, chemicals, GHS compliance and supplements, as well as private labelling, test marketing, pre-press proofing and retail labelling.

Drivers for Windows are included, along with BarTender UltraLite DTM Edition and NiceLabel Free DTM Edition software for label design, barcode and QR code generation, and serialisation. Labels can also be designed using most popular Windows-based graphic design programs.

The DTM CLP2200e Colour Label Printer has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of €3,595 and will be available from DTM Print and authorised partners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa starting in February 2026.
