Drum Units Rolled Out for Canon MFPs

A US-based alternative supplier for the office equipment industry has released a series of OPC drums and drum rebuild kits for Canon MFPs.

According to Katun, the new products include:

• Katun Performance™ black and color drum units for use in Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5045/C5051/C5250/C5255-series applications;
• Katun® Business Color drum units used in Canon IR C2380/C2880/C3080/C3380/C3580 MFPs;
• A Katun Performance™ universal drum unit rebuild kit used in Canon iR ADVANCE C5030/C5035 and C5045/C5051-series MFPs.

Katun claims the new products offer comparable yields, color reproduction and performance as OEM products at prices much lower than buying a new OEM product.
