At this year’s RemaxWorld Summit 2025, three distinguished leaders from the global chip industry will share their insights on how this critical technology is influencing the market today and shaping its tomorrow. Their forward-looking perspectives will highlight the strategic role of chips in powering innovation, sustaining competitiveness, and opening new opportunities for the imaging world.

Juan Carlos Bonell

Chief Executive Officer, Static Control Components, Inc.

Juan Carlos Bonell is the CEO of Static Control, the global leader in imaging aftermarket solutions. With an engineering degree from the University of the Andes and an International MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he brings more than 20 years of experience in the industry.

His career began as General Manager of Componentes de Colombia, a Static Control distributor, where he successfully grew the business and gained valuable insight as a customer. He joined Static Control in 2006 and went on to lead sales across Latin America, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Japan, and Asia-Pacific.

Appointed CEO in 2023, Juan Carlos now leads with a global perspective and a focus on innovation, resilience, and customer partnership. He is dedicated to expanding Static Control’s product portfolio, strengthening customer relationships, and continuing the company’s reputation as the aftermarket’s premium quality and IP leader.

Robert Luo

Senior Product Director of Printing Chip Business Unit Geehy Microelectronics Inc.

Mr. Luo is the Senior Product Director of the Printing Chip Business Unit at Geehy Microelectronics Inc. He has over 15 years of experience in developing printer chips, with in-depth knowledge of semiconductor design and research and development specific to the printing industry. Currently, he is responsible for leading the market strategy and developing the product portfolio for laser printers, inkjet printers, and a variety of micro-printer controller chips, along with comprehensive application solutions.

Jason Doran

Head of European Business, Zhono

Jason studied business and finance before graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 1989. Before embarking on a business career, he spent a year volunteering in Africa, working on environmental and community projects including a stint with the anti- poaching unit in Zimbabwe. A true friend of the natural world, plants and animals he has always been an advocate for saving and protecting our planet for future generations.

He began his career as a business graduate in the consumer electronics industry with the Japanese brand Pioneer where he was Product Manager and marketing Manager before moving to a similar role at Sony. His passion for saving the planet and recycling attracted him into the Cartridge World franchise in 2002 and he opened up three CW stores in the south of England. He has held several senior management and sales positions in the cartridge remanufacturing and consumables industry including Static Control, Print Rite and more recently with Zhono and has spoken at many events for these companies.
