Cartridge World in Kinnelon Offers Savings on Quality Ink

Cartridge World has been saving businesses and people money by providing them with exceptional products and great customer service since it relocated from Riverdale three years ago.

Owner Jack Pezzuti and Manager Manny Paulino specialize in remanufacturing and refilling original ink and toner cartridges for printers. They take empty and used cartridges and complete rebuild and refill them for a fraction of the cost. The only thing old about the original ink or toner cartridges is the plastic case.

Customers can swap their empty cartridges and buy remanufactured ones at a 25-50 percent cheaper price than original equipment manufactured cartridges (OEM) from stores such as Staples. However, Cartridge World carries all the major OEM brands such as Canon and HP as well, giving customers the choice of what they want to buy: cartridges from big OEM brands or the Cartridge World brand.
Cartridge World’s American factories also remanufacture their own cartridges on a large-scale basis. The factories produce 2.5 million cartridges a month, and every one is rigorously tested and backed by a 99-percent success ratio.

“Everything is 100 percent guaranteed; I can’t stress that enough,” said Pezzuti. “So many people are afraid to use remanufactured and refilled cartridges, and they shouldn’t be afraid, especially (when) dealing with me.”

In the re-manufacturing process, empty cartridges are completely dissembled, cleaned, all internal parts replaced, then reassembled and filled with the specific toner for the cartridge type. The cartridge is then tested and packaged for sale to the consumer at a discounted rate, explained Pezzuti.

Not only does this process save customers money, but it also helps the environment. Every part of the old cartridge gets reused or recycled rather than decomposed of in a landfill.

“We are a 100-percent green company,” said Master Franchisee Gregory Carafello, who’s in charge of 54 stores from New Jersey to Virginia. “So when we take the guts out of that cartridge, it never sees the dirt. It comes back as eye glasses, pencil holders, or whatever plastics you need.”
