Canon Launches Nine New Satera Business Printers
Canon announced the launch of nine new models in its business printer and multifunction device lineup under the Satera series, including the flagship Satera 971Ci, available from November 13, 2025. The new products address business needs for high image quality, high speed, and reliable security, while also advancing Canon’s environmental initiatives.

The Satera 971Ci, an A3 color printer, combines the series’ highest print quality with high-speed performance. It is equipped with the newly developed “D2 Exposure” device that uses LED multi-chip light sources, achieving a maximum resolution of 4,800×2,400 dpi—the highest in the Satera line. The model delivers up to 60 pages per minute (A4 single-sided) and boasts a rated life of 2 million prints, making it ideal for producing proposals, blueprints, and design documents that require precise color reproduction. With optional paper cassettes installed, it can hold up to 7,250 sheets across six types of paper, minimizing downtime for paper replacement.
For high-speed front-desk or in-store printing, Canon is introducing the LBP672C II and LBP646C. The LBP672C II prints 33 ppm (A4 single-sided) and 29 ppm duplex, with a first printout time of about 7.1 seconds. The LBP646C offers 25 ppm single-sided, 15 ppm duplex, and a first printout in around 10.4 seconds. Both models use vivid color toners suited for applications such as store flyers and price cards that demand quick turnaround and crisp color output.
In the multifunction printer range, the MF755Cdw II and MF665Cdw come equipped with an Application Library, allowing users to perform preset tasks—such as scanning handwritten forms or sending data to specific folders—at the touch of a button, without a PC. Both models support high-speed duplex scanning via their Automatic Document Feeders (ADF), accommodating small paper formats including A6 and business cards, helping offices digitize documents efficiently.
Canon has also enhanced security through a new “Recommended Security Settings” function, enabling users to easily apply optimal security configurations without technical expertise. On the sustainability front, the company has adopted recycled plastics in printer bodies and eliminated styrofoam packaging for toner cartridges.
