Canon Dispute Ends

Canon claims it has concluded its dispute with UK based J&H Greentech and Trading Ltd otherwise known as “Prestige Cartridge” over J&H’s alleged infringement of certain Canon’s European patents.

According to global.canon, J&H has agreed not to “dispose of, offer to dispose of, use, keep, import or otherwise deal with certain laser toner cartridges for use in various models of Canon and HP laser beam printers worldwide.” Canon accused J&H over infringement of its European patents EP 2,087,407 B1, EP 2,137,577 B1, and other respective international counterpart patents.

Canon says it will continue to take legal action against anyone who does not respect its intellectual property rights.
