Brother Serious About Color Business Inkjet

Brother has released seven models designed for small and medium sized businesses with print volumes of between 250 and 2,000 pages per month.

The new Business Ink Series includes the MFC-J5330DW, MFC-J5730DW and MFC-J5930DW, which can print up to A4 and scan up to A3 sized documents. The MFC-J6530DW, MFC-J6730DW, MFC-J6930DW and MFC-J6935DW models can print and scan at both A4 and A3 sizes.

All these MFPs can print up to 22 ppm with a swift, first page delivery and copy times of less than 6 seconds. With high yield cartridges, the models can print up to 3,000 pages in black and 1,500 pages in color.

The OEM claims the models are made from new materials with improved robustness and durability, and its improved print head can increase machine life from 60,000 to 100,000 pages.

The inkjet models also feature touchscreen LCD control panels and physical keys, a 50 sheet Automatic Document Feeder, extend paper trays, paper guides and a close scanner lid.

The MFC-J5930DW and MFC-J6935DW, along with MFC-J5730DW and MFC-J6930DW, provide 2-sided print, copy and scan functions. The MFC-J5930DW and MFC-J6935DW are equipped with a Paper Low Detection feature which informs users with a message on the LCD screen when the standard tray paper supply is low. Both MPFs also allow users to print PDFs directly from a USB stick with PCL 6 and BR-Script3 (PostScript®3TM Language Emulation) ensuring the compatibility with a wide variety of software systems.
