Apex Intros ASIC Chips for OKI Printers

Apex has released an ASIC designed chip for use in the OKI C3300 series cartridges, including OKI C3300, 3400, 3450, 3530, 3600, C810, 910 ES2032MFP, ES3640, ES741 and C800, 8800 series.

According to Apex, its ASIC designed chip is more reliable than MCU designed chips. The company believes MCU designed chips are restricted and not designed for specific application requirements, which will creates field failures if the printer does not recognize the chip.
