Eastman Kodak and the Imaging Supplies Coalition (ISC) were two OEM organizations honored for their contribution to the environment and anti-counterfeiting respectively. The ISC is a non-profit trade association comprised of OEMs including Brother, Canon, Epson, HP, Lexmark, Samsung, Toshiba, Xerox. Andrew Gardner, recently appointed Chairman of the ISC, was pleased to accept the award recognizing the coalition’s effort to combat illegal activities and protect their customers.
After the ceremony, models dressed in 3D printed garments and accessories provided a fantastic fashion show for the audience.
“The Aftermarket industry has been perplexed by illegal infringements, new technologies and the slowing in demand for print consumables. It’s important to educate and inform the industry on how to value intellectual property, innovation, brand, quality and the environment. That’s why we insisted in continuing the 25 year tradition handed to us by Recharger Magazine, to hold the ceremony and recognize role models,” said Tony Lee, Managing Director of RT Media, the organizer of RemaxWorld Expo and the Awards Ceremony.
