Empty Collector Helps Raise Fund for Children
Takeback, an empty cartridge collector in the UK, has reached an agreement with Barnardo’s, the UK’s largest children’s charity. Under the agreement, Takeback will firstly activate its collection and recycling points in around 575 Barnardo’s retail stores across the country.
According to Takeback, the partnership will highlight its “zero to landfill” recycling initiative, which creates an opportunity for end users to recycle, and help raise additional funds for Barnardo’s. Also, the fund goes along with other funds to fulfill the charity’s commitment to “transform the lives of more than 200,000 children, young people and their families each year”.
Takeback’s Gill Salisbury believes the agreement will become a win-win partnership for Takeback andBarnardo’s coping with the environment. “All at Takeback are excited to be part of the recycling partnership with Barnardo’s,” added Salisbury.
