Ricoh Establishes AI Consulting Joint Venture

Ricoh and Rise Consulting Group Co., Ltd., a consulting firm specializing in AI and digital transformation, have established a joint venture, Ricoh AI Consulting Co., Ltd., to help organizations implement AI initiatives aimed at addressing business and operational challenges.

The new company will combine Ricoh’s AI technologies, customer base, and AI solution development capabilities with Rise Consulting Group’s expertise in AI strategy, implementation, and organizational adoption. The venture is intended to provide end-to-end consulting services covering AI planning, deployment, and ongoing operational support.

Ricoh and Rise Consulting Group said the joint venture was established to bridge the gap between AI experimentation and practical business outcomes by supporting customers throughout the entire AI transformation process, from strategy development to implementation and long-term operational integration.

Ricoh AI Consulting will begin by assessing customers’ business and operational challenges before developing AI adoption strategies and implementation roadmaps.

The company said its services will extend beyond proof-of-concept projects to include key performance indicator (KPI) design, business process transformation, AI infrastructure development, deployment, user adoption, and continuous improvement. During production deployment, the company plans to leverage Ricoh Group’s AI technologies and solutions to support implementation, operations, and enterprise-wide rollout.

The partners said they intend to accumulate implementation experience across multiple industries and business functions to develop repeatable AI transformation models that can be applied more broadly. The companies expect these efforts to support customers’ long-term competitiveness and sustainable growth.
