Ricoh Launches IM 7010 A3 Monochrome MFP

Ricoh announced that it will launch the A3 monochrome multifunction printer RICOH IM 7010, expanding its existing IM series lineup with a higher-speed model aimed at office users.

The new device delivers a continuous print speed of 70 pages per minute in A4 landscape format, adding to the company’s current “RICOH IM 6010/4510/3510/2510” series, which previously topped out at 60 pages per minute. Ricoh said the addition will allow customers to choose a model better suited to their specific office workloads and operational needs.

According to the company, the RICOH IM 7010 is the first monochrome multifunction printer in its 70-page-per-minute class to feature an internal paper output mechanism. The machine measures 587 mm wide, 724 mm deep, and 963 mm high, offering a compact footprint designed for flexible office layouts. Wireless LAN connectivity is also included as a standard feature.

The company highlighted the device’s productivity capabilities, including a first-copy-out time of 2.9 seconds and a standard single-pass duplex automatic document feeder capable of scanning up to 300 double-sided pages per minute. The scanner also supports business cards and smaller-sized documents, helping improve digitization workflows.

For finishing options, Ricoh said the optional 3,000-sheet finisher supports staple-free binding for up to 10 sheets. An internal paper-folding unit can also fold up to three sheets at once, enabling space-saving post-processing operations.

Ricoh added that approximately 50% of the total weight of the machine’s plastic components consists of recycled materials. The company also said the adoption of low-melting-point toner technology helped the device achieve an industry-leading TEC value of 0.72 kWh, contributing to efforts toward a circular economy and carbon neutrality.
