Canon Rolls Out New A4 imageCLASS Office Printers

Canon Inc. has introduced a new series of A4 monochrome laser printers aimed at office environments, including the imageCLASS MF563x and the imageCLASS LBP335x.

The devices are designed for mid-sized offices and enterprise use, with both models offering print speeds of up to 43 pages per minute. The MF563x includes multifunction capabilities such as scanning and copying, and features a single-pass, two-sided automatic document feeder capable of scanning up to 100 images per minute.

The MF563x is equipped with a 7-inch colour touchscreen interface that supports customizable shortcuts and workflow settings. Both printers include automatic duplex printing as a standard feature.

Security features include support for protocols such as TLS 1.3, IEEE 802.1X, and WPA3. The printers also incorporate embedded threat monitoring through Trellix software, along with compatibility with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems for centralized monitoring. Dual network connections are supported to separate different types of workflows, and mobile printing is available via applications such as Canon PRINT, Apple AirPrint, and Mopria Print Service.

To support higher workloads, the printers offer optional paper capacity expansion up to 2,300 sheets and use high-yield toner cartridges rated for up to 21,000 pages.

Canon said the models also incorporate energy-saving features, including on-demand fusing technology, and use recycled materials in some components.
