Ninestar Releases 2025 Half-Year Financial Report

Ninestar has disclosed its 2025 half-year financial results. During the reporting period, the company recorded total operating revenue of CNY 12.33 billion (USD 1.73 billion), down 3.65% year-on-year. Net loss attributable to shareholders was CNY 312 million (USD 43.67 million), a year-on-year decline of 132.02%.

In the first half of 2025, Pantum achieved operating revenue of CNY 2.309 billion (USD 323.34 million), up 10% year-on-year. Net profit reached CNY 324 million (USD 45.38 million), down 16% compared with the same period last year. Printer shipments overall fell 5% year-on-year. However, sales of A3 copiers surged 115%.

In China’s domestic information technology (Xinchuang) market, Pantum printer sales grew 65% year-on-year, with second-quarter sales soaring 130% quarter-on-quarter. Leveraging full-stack in-house R&D and compatibility with domestic operating systems, the company has continued to gain recognition in government projects and major conferences. Notably, Pantum became the first third-party printer brand to complete HarmonyOS adaptation and obtain Huawei certification.

On the product front, Pantum’s “Durability Series” printer—launched during the Summer Davos Forum—earned a world record certification, further demonstrating its robustness and reliability.

Ninestar’s general consumables business generated CNY 2.697 billion (USD 377.31 million) in revenue, essentially flat year-on-year. Net profit was CNY 28 million (USD 3.92 million), representing a 64% year-on-year decline. While sales volumes remained stable, intense industry competition and cost pressures weighed heavily on profitability.

In the first half of 2025, Geehy Microelectronics reported operating revenue of CNY 556 million (USD 77.87 million), down 18% year-on-year, and net profit of CNY 18 million (USD 2.52 million), down 94%.

However, revenue from non-consumable chips used in industrial control and automotive applications rose 52% year-on-year. Total chip shipments reached 293 million units, representing a 16% year-on-year increase.
