In early August, Ricoh released firmware updates for multiple printer models. Some customers were concerned about whether Zhono chips would still function normally on these printers after the updates. On August 4^th and 18^th, Zhono engineers performed rigorous chip tests on five key Ricoh models.

Throughout each test, Zhono chips passed with a 100% success rate, thus proving they remained unaffected by the firmware updates. The chips maintain complete operational compatibility in both previous and current models. The chart below highlights the verified test results.

Each test was conducted in strict accordance with standardized firmware upgrade testing protocols, including lifespan evaluations and status page printing.
